So I was looking through the 15 thread and I saw a boys knife that had orange handles and the more I looked I started to noticed that on the antique yellow knives some look more orange. Is this on purpose or by accident because I love the look of it. Here is the picture of the one I found.
It's just the nature of bone or really any other natural material. Some pieces of bone will take the dye better than others. Camel bone seems to really be all over the place as far as taking or not taking the dye. GEC knives can have the same color name but depending on the batch or year made they will look completely different.
