GEC 15 with ebony and single clip?

Did GEC make a single blade 15 in ebony with a clip point? I want one but before I start looking I would like to even know if they made one? Do they have total numbers of certain types of patterns and handles listed anywhere?
 
yes, they did, the official production numbers are on their site. I had one modded for my purposes, cause that end cap... :thumbup:

Holy cow! I didn't know they made a single blade with a long pull! That's EXACTLY what I want! Any idea how many were made? I'm positive none are left at any dealers.

GEC gives the total for the ebony in the photo as 58 pieces. There are other long pull clips with different covers ranging from 14 pieces (cocobola) to 63 pieces (rust red jigged). I know one with different covers passed hands on BF a short while ago. So they do come up from time to time. Very best of luck locating one.

I carry a TC Barlow in saw cut red bone every. single. day. I broke the pen off several years ago doing something dumb. (The post is here if anyone cares to search for it.) I was going to send it in to be replaced, but honestly I kind of don't mind it. It's just part of the history of the knife, you know? Once in a while I'll pull it out and wonder what it would be like with that single spring, but I've never done held one so I don't know.

I have a two blade boys knife in clip that I'm not crazy about the bone on. If it had a long pull I'd send it to Glenn or someone in a heart beat to be made into a single blade with ebony, but I'm not sure how I feel about the nail nick over the long pull.

thats exactly what I did. Long ago, some one sold me a pen and clip with end cap in ebony and I had it modded.
