Howdy folks, I wanted to share with you all my new to me 15 that I received on Monday. As I opened the package I was amazed at how beautiful this knife is. I believe it's ebony and 1095. I believe I have found the one for me. It's easy on the pocket and the eyes. I look at its shape of the blades and the smoothness of the wood and I am back in time with my grandpa on his farm. It reminds me of times gone by and the true beauty and simplicity of the olden days. When life was simple and the farmers knife was called upon to do many things from cutting open bags of seed for his fields or grain for his mule to preparing his lunch while sitting in the shade of a big oak over looking his fields. Not my pics but my knife.

Great looking knife. I have a single blade (clip point) #15 in ebony and I wasn't sure I was going to warm up to the ebony as it is down on the list of my favorite woods and woods aren't my preferred handle material to begin with but I have become very fond of it.

Yep that's Ebony and a NICE long-pull #15 you've got there... Congrats, that's about as classic as a pocket knife gets.

Ebony and African Blackwood are beautiful, I love wood scales more and more these days.

That is on my short list of "must haves". I'm thinking Christmas, I've been a pretty good boy this year! Very nice
