GEC 16 , weak spring or normal ?

Hi, I had never owned a #16 before and managed to pick one up recently. My question is do the have weak springs, I'd say the pull is only a 2 or 3 to open the blade. Is this normal for this pattern ?

It's weaker than the spring on mine.
