I just saw a reliable indicator that GEC will do a run of #23s sometime in 2020!

I've become a big fan of this pattern when it has a lock (liner or bull).

I love 23's!!! My favorite knife is a single blade stag 23. It's not a safe queen.

Will they do a normal production run or just okca? I would like to try this pattern out but normally those types of runs are hard to get!

I don't kniw that I've ever seen GEC do a special run for OKCA...at least not in the past few years. They always seem to be piggyback runs.

Yep, I guess it's pretty much out there now!

So hopefully it's alright for me to say:

The AMKCA (Allegheny Mountain Knife Collectors Association) 2020 club knife will also be a #23, if all goes well. Handle not 100% confirmed yet.

The Shaner Sportsmen's Club will likely also have a short order of #23s for members.

You like the liner lock on the #23s?

Those white bone ones sure are something!

Those are both great looking knives, and two I'm not sure I've ever seen before! Maybe I've seen the golf-ball-jigged bone one (love that jigging!), but I've definitely never seen the other(s)!

I'm excited about the idea of GEC doing a #23 this year, and I'd completely forgotten that I already have one! At least, I'm pretty sure these '07 early-GEC Schrade Trappers were done on the #23 pattern, right?

(I have to be honest, that knife isn't actually mine anymore. I gave it away in this GAW last year. But, I do have one exactly like it that I kept for myself. :D)
