I’ve only had this knife for about a month and a half but I’ve been carrying it off and on since then. I think I’ve decided to make it my edc. At first I felt like it was a little too big but now I appreciate having some extra length and heft, it feels like a real knife in my hand. Over this past weekend we went fishing and frog gigging and I used it exclusively for dispatching and cleaning everything we caught. Not only did it excel at every job but it barely dulled and now it has a little more color to its patina. There’s just something about a large, single blade slipjoint that I find really nice, especially one made as well as this. Thought you guys might understand. Those are very nice, I’ll keep my eye on maybe getting one of those if I can. I think this is all the pocket knife I need though to be honest
 
image.jpg Very nice, the last time I gigged frogs the guy I was with beat the frogs on the bulwark of the boat till they croaked (awful pun). Speaking of violence I watched JohnWick 3 yesterday and the killing/blood was well over the top. I’m starting to understand why some older people still watch the Andy Griffith show. Obligatory knife pic with my rambling

To post a photo from Imgur, select the image, then on the top left there will be a selector with a drill down that says "Link". Click the drill down, and select BBCode. Then just copy the link to the right of that and paste it into your post.

A sodbuster is handy for sure! I have a full size Case one that is big in the pocket, but theyre light and you get a lot of blade. Great design.

Yeah I whack them across a stump or log or something to stun long enough to kill them for sure. They freak me out because they can move for a long time and it’s hard to tell if they’re actually dead or not. Since I don’t like the thought of something suffering I just go ahead and finish the job and not take any chances. Yeah I need to catch up on the John Wick movies, I’ve only seen the first one.
