Can anyone do a side by side of the two, I really want a bullet jack but they are rarely available so i am looking at a 25 for a replacement.

SOME patterns are Queen, but the bulk are GEC. Bullet =25, Hawthorne = 48, Broadway = 15, Michigan = 77, etc.

I had a Northwoods bullet and sold it off. As wundergussy said it's the same pattern as the 25, just different blade grind. The bullet had a saber grind. GEC 25s have flat grinds. Go for the EZ open 25 if you want something easier on the nails ;)

As Gus said, other than the blade grind they're the same.

Northwoods has two patterns that I know of that aren't on the GEC Roster (The Norfolk and Madison "barlow")

Something to consider though, the GEC 25 will cut much better than a Northwoods Bullet.

The Saber grind especially on a knife such as the bullet jack cannot compare cutting performance wise to a Full Flat Grind on the GEC 25.

I'd suggest picking up a 25 in the red linen micarta.

On the GEC Production schedule they list the Madison Barlow.

By "aren't on the GEC Roster" I mean one of 'their' patterns.
The 15, 77, 25, 55, etc are GEC's patterns.

They don't create any knives using the Norfolk and Madison barlow pattern and lines/frame other than for Northwoods knives.
