GEC 2nd knife suggestion

I recently bought my first slip joint, a GEC Bull Nose, and I love almost everything about it. The design, the fit and finish, the quality, and the overall feel of a nice traditional knife in my hands.

I'm looking for suggestions for a second traditional, most likely another GEC. This is what I'm looking for:

- Slip joint with half stop (if possible, a little weaker pull than the Bull Nose)
- Blade at around between 2.5 and 3"
- Single blade
- I don't mind wood handles, but I have a strong preference for synthetic materials
- Is there anything available in stainless steel?

Can you folks give me some suggestions? Price is not an issue so I'm completely open to customs, but availability is. Waiting months for a knife is not something I contemplate doing.

Thanks in advance.

Your options at dealers right now with half stops and easier pull than the 71 with that blade length is the 48 pattern.

Otherwise, watch the exchange for 15s, 77s, 85s, 74s (pull is about the same), and the Lionsteels Roundhead.

Come to think of it, I would say the Roundhead/Shuffler are exactly what you want with really good stainless. Check out @knifeswapper website and early reserves for the next upcoming run and just pick your micarta or carbon fiber of choice.

I think the knife that most closely meets your wishlist is the GEC #74 Mustang in 440c stainless.

Edit: I forgot about the Roundhead/Shuffler.

Not one blade, or meeting your other criteria, but everybody needs a beer scout or crown lifter. GEC 15. Just one man's opinion.

There's still stainless micarta navy knives around
This is the closest GEC to what you're asking for in stainless. It's an under appreciated model in my opinion.

I agree with the dislike of the bail, and would prefer it without, but if I hated it enough, I'd figure a way to remove it.
