I've got one of these in jigged chestnut... awesome knife, takes an amazing edge too.
This is a nice, slim carry, and I like that it has half-stops.
Great work knife, and it can handle a lot.
Anyone got one of these... any thoughts on them?

I have one. I like it a lot. Sadly, it only gets carried on rare occasions.

I've got several: black water jigged bone, blue camel bone, elk, chestnut, burnt orange, etc. One of my favorite GEC patterns. I like slim line trappers and the Mako is similar, albeit a little longer. Very slender and easy to pocket carry. Can pinch open blades as well. Its my go-to steak knife and I use it in restaurants. Great knife!

I like slim-line trappers as well... like the Mako, makes a great working knife.
These slim blades can really do a lot of tasks and can handle rough stuff for sure.

I agree! Makos are very versatile and make a great EDC. Can handle a wide variety of cutting tasks and just feels so good in the hand. Also love the "fish tail".
I forgot I also have a Yellow Rose and a jigged bone version in addition to the ones I listed above.

I like them, in fact I own and carry the #63, #64 & #65 models including the swing guard. Love them all. Great slim design with a lot of blade. The #63 is my least favorite of the bunch due to the rear bolster. The #65 lock back is my favorite user of the 3.

Lots of folks seem to not like that rear bolster... never an issues with me.
Never been uncomfortable in my hand while working with it.
I always thought the design was kinda cool as well, someone once thought I was using a switchblade. LOL
