I like the look of both of these. They are very similar and the only real difference I see is that the #33 is 1/8" shorter and appears to have a bit of a peak in the middle.

Anything else I'm missing? Anyone who owns both care to comment?

Thanks.

The #33 is lighter. The #68 is beefier in the hand. The pen blade in the #68, if I recall is longer. The length on the clip blades is a wash, but there is more beef on the #68's clip blade. There is no spearpoint option on the #33.

They're both excellent patterns and one reason is their relative proportions. The Conductor, having a narrower handle has a slimmer(in width) Clip blade, same for the Pen blade. If you have very large (dare I say clumsy..) hands, avoid these knives. They carry really satisfyingly and for a sub-Yeti paw they work impressively: a lot of blade in a discrete and aesthetic frame. They look dead Old School too, as if that matters.....:D:thumbup:

Already said but the extra size of the #68 makes it feel more substantial in hand and slightly less so in pocket. They are pretty similar otherwise imo. Either would work for a small edc.

I'll agree that the 68 is more hand friendly to me but I have paws like a bear. :)

One big plus to me is that I have a particular quirk about having a knife 'roll' in my pocket. Don't know why but it has bothered me since I was a kid. The 68 doesn't do it while the 33 does. The 33 just isn't tall enough to resist rolling over when I carry it. The 68 is tall and thin and carries like a dream I wouldn't worry about it being pocket friendly.

Thanks for the input. Of course, I really should just get both to solve the problem, but I think I'll start with the #68 since I like beefy. I love that old school look. Pulling any old school pocket knife out tends to get more "oohs and ahhs" while many modern "tactical" knives tend to make people nervous. I like my "old man" look so classic patterns work for me.
