Hello there. I have recently become very interested in GEC's #72, specifically the Cody Jack. May I have some more photos from anyone who has one? Thickness comparisons, length, closeups, etc. I live up in Northern Canada (Yukon Territory) and don't have a chance at buying any new traditional in person. Online orders only. Thanks in advance and wish you alluck a happy Canadian Thanksgiving.

Hello to a fellow Canuck! I don't have pics of my OD micarta but I can say that it is quite a nice knife. Is there a specific knife you wanted it compared to for size and thickness?

(horrible cellphone) comparison pic between (top to bottom) Case Sodbuster Jr, GEC #72, GEC #73

Its a great knife and the lock back is a nice touch. Mine had some vertical play but its solid enough.... hope this helps!

This is the jack of all trades, master of none, knife for me. It's not too big, or too small - and never has a problem doing anything, from food prep to whittling. I enjoy all the blade patterns available. It's probably the most prolific pattern in my little collection.

This one has since gone to a new home:

Here's a couple on the right side of this pile:

There's also a great thread of 72's & 73's here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1092362-Let-s-see-those-73s-(and-72s)

Awesome! Thanks you guys. I am thinking the antique amber bone with the steer shield on KSF. That last photo was extremely helpful as I have a Case Canoe that I carry everyday now. For some reason it always ends up in my pocket though it is smaller than I like as well as a spear point blade which isn't my preference. I really like the secondary pen knife though for the times I need a knife in public but don't want to draw a lot of attention.

Toflick, where abouts in Canada do you live?
