The fixed weighs 112 grams and the folder weighs 62 grams
The fixed blade looks and feels MUCH thicker than the folder blade but measured with a micrometer, there is only .020 (twenty thousands) difference at the tang. The swedges make the folder blade appear much thinner.

The edge of the fixed blade is below the handle while the edge of the folder blade is pretty much in-line with the handle. I think that gives the fixed blade a plus in hand when working.

Anytime, I really enjoy that long swedge that follows almost the entirety of the fixed blade and I can see what you mean about the edge of the fixed blade matching the but end of the handle. How's the balance on the fixed blade?

The fixed blade Hunter is of course handle heavy because of the solid full tang vs blade well of the folder. In spite of that, the Hunter imparts confidence, feels substantial and ready to effortlessly work in hand. The folder MAY feel more balanced and work just as effortlessly, but just doesn't feel as substantial as the Hunter.
