GEC #74 Ranch Hand?

Big clip and spey on the saddle trapper frame. Interesting--you can't get that kind of blade in a 2-blade 73 (which has a spey and drop point/skinner) so this will be the variant for those that want a true clip and spey trapper.

Still waiting on a full production 47 swayback though...or a single blade 74 that mimics a Lanny's.

indeed but this looks interesting in the meantime

Definitely, didn't mean to shoot it down. I really like how low the Spey sits on this one when you're using the clip; it might as well be a single blader in the comfort aspect there.

sorry wasn't suggesting you were - single clip blade #74 has been on my want list since forever too :D

Absolutely, first thing I noticed! ;-)
But, second thing I noticed is how durn high the clip blade sat :-p ! That's not going to be great ergos when using the spey blade.
Bring on that single clip blade, Northfield and ebony flavor! Or stag, or jigged yeller rose, or......
