I just received mine! It is fantastic. Rustic but classy! Centered blades and the pull is about a 6-7. I will add more comments to Mike's "First Impressions" thread later.

Here are a few quick picks and a comparison with an Imperial Barlow.

that looks fantastic. cant wait for mine. ordered it with the sunbrite 77 so that may slowing things down a bit.

Thought we were calling these Marlows? I say we run with that name works on so many levels - Medium Barlow by Mike Latham, the Marlow.

That is real purdy by the way. Could someone post a picture of one from above of the knife resting on its spine? Would like to see thickness and blade centering.

Wow, that Pioneer bone looks amazing! I haven't owned nor handled a GEC in Pioneer Bone before, is it similar to the Soup Bone barlows Charlie had made a while back?

Not the best picture to show centering but both blades are almost perfectly centered.

I received my two Marlowes today. These are outstanding! I must admit that these, along with the two Washington 77's I purchased aren't quite the watertight assembly as some of my other GEC knives but nonetheless, they are fantastic.

The blade centering appears off with the Abalone, but it's actually dead center.

Pics are with a #15 Crown Lifter.... the closest I've got to a Beerlow!

I apologize for the terrible pictures, but this is what you get on such short notice!

Not sure how much it matters but I think Mike was trying to get pics and impressions up on the thread he started here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1231878-GEC-77-Medium-Barlow-Impressions

Not sure if there's much sense in having multiple threads with the same purpose, might sort of dilute the info everyone is putting together and be a little less helpful for the community and Mike.
I have to admit, I missed your comment before I posted. Maybe one of Mods should/could merge the threads. Make it a 'Let's talk about Marlowes' thread.....

That Blackwood looks great, so glad I was able to get one on standby. Definitely a keeper. Gonna be a great whittler.

I'll close this thread in order to support Mike's "Impressions" thread. It would be ok if mods preferred to move this thread into Mike's.

I am apologize if this caused any confusion.
