WITHDRAWN Northfield Un-X-Ld Executive Whittler. GEC made a VERY few of these in stag and serialized each one. The highest serial number I've seen is "16". This one is #08. With a quite thin design and sub four inches closed, this piece makes for a supurb suit or dress slacks carry. The wharncliff main blade is ideal in the office. The blades are beautifully swedged and fit into the handle like a "well packed suitcase". Blades are carbon steel, liners are brass and the threaded bolsters are nickle-silver. GEC refused to mount a shield for reasons detailed in the enclosed paperwork, but there is an UN-X-LD pin included in the package. A split spring design, the Wharncliff main blade rides on both springs while the coping blade and the pen blade ride on a single spring each. Blade pull is a 5 on a scale of 10.
