Mine came very similar (also cocobolo). After some oiling and working it sorted itself out. Hope yours does as well.Mine has a light pull and a lazy snap (no snap actually) at full open. very small gap at liner and spring, not very noticeable but light does come through. Cocobolo.
Oiled and exercised, maybe it will come around, not touching the blade yet.
