Up for sale is this GEC--Great Eastern Cutlery Barlow pattern slipjiont model # 251208. It is number 35 in the 1 of 50 production run. This production run has been sold out and are no longer available..
She has 1095 carbon steel and Smooth Red Buffalo Horn scales, Nickel Silver bolsters and brass liners. She comes mint(never used to cut anything) in her original box and uniquie vintage style brown wax paper wrapping with the Certificate Document. Snaps as new open and closed and has absolutely NO blade wobble side-to-side on either the main Clip blade or the secondary Spear/Pen blade. Measures 3 inches in the closed position.. IMO, Great Eastern Cutlery produces the best quality slipjoint knives today bar none and is as close to a handmade custom slipjoint as you may receive from custom knife makers..
My photos are taken out doors on my covered back porch with just the ambient sunlight that happens to be available at that time. I apologize for any glare and be assured that all the etches and stampings are dark and clear and as new.. My photos don't even come close to showing the true beauty of this piece, sorry..
