Time for a giveaway to go along with our Independence Day Celebrations! Up for grabs is a GEC Beer Scout Knife Club Pint Glass. I'll admit, I did use it a few times but it's still in great condition and would make a fine addition to your collection!

It occurred to me that since I no longer own a GEC caplifter I don't rightly belong to the Beer Scout Knife Club.

THE RULES:
1: You must have a paid membership to Bladeforums. Lifting this rule to include everyone! Open to our international members as well.

2: You must currently own a GEC caplifter knife.... it doesn't have to be a Beer Scout specifically, but it does need to have a caplifter. I'll accept the Franken Mods as well as those most recent ridiculous blade/lifter things on the #25 pattern. :p🤣 It MUST be a GEC.

I'd prefer this goes to someone who genuinely wants it as part of their collection, even if they only have one caplifter and don't really have a collection. In short, please don't enter to flip it.... on your honor!

3: Post a picture of your caplifter and say you're in!

I'll use a random number generator to pick the winner sometime next weekend July 8-9 or thereabouts.

Lastly, thank you to all of you who support this forum and thank you to the generous folks who have gifted me knives and other items over the years.

Here is my Beer Scout hanging out with some of my other favorite traditionals (somehow most of my Beer Scout photos are paired with moderns). Even though I don't often actually have beer (gluten and I are a somewhat explosive combination), I do love beer and I'd enjoy having a Beer Scout pint glass. A few times I year I simply accept the consequences and indulge (same as with doughnuts). Thanks for the opportunity.

Thanks for the bump. I saw this the other day but forgot to post an entry!

Some of my first GECs were from that first Beer Scout run (I was a little late to the party, but back then you could still snag something like that off the exchange for a more than reasonable price). I almost bought one of the pint glasses a few times, but never did, so I’m definitely in! Thanks for the chance!

Not an entry for me, since I don't have a GEC knife with a cap lifter. And I typically don't enter GAWs where the prize is a GEC knife, so I should probably avoid any GAWs with other GEC merchandise, too.

Fun to see the knives folks are posting here. :thumbsup:🤓

This is a great & unusual GAW and something for the fans of drink. :D

Not an entry for me as I'm overseas and don't see the prize travelling well. But I want to nominate btb01 btb01 not only a stalwart and interesting contributor but most generous himself. Plus, I feel Barrett likes to beer it up from time to time :cool:
