I can say that a new production run of the 71 Bullnose is next up on the GEC Production Schedule.

The #21 is a great knife. It was the 3rd (I think) GEC I bought. Its a worker, big 1095 blade and a nice strong spring. Got a pretty heavy pull, but thats what I personally want in a knife like that. If you have the funds, I'd recommend you pick one up. Its big, just a bit smaller than a Buck 110, but if you can deal with that its worth every penny. I'll post a pic of mine when I get home.

well i bought the Great Eastern Cutlery Bullbuster #21 Large Sodbuster Black Delrin. it should be here in around 1-3 days so i will hope that your personal experience is right!

I got the green micarta 21, and love it. nothing not to be happy about for a no frills work knife.

I have one orange delrin Bull Nose, and three Bull Busters - Maroon linen, Black linen, and OD green canvas. They are great sodbusters. I'm in for a natural canvas micarta bull nose when they are available.

I was actually looking for a non-locking 73 in Osage Orange. I never did find one but my search turned up a 21 with those handles and I decided to try it out. Quite a bit larger than a 73 but I couldn't be happier. It's a little lighter and thinner than my Case Sodbuster plus its got a half-stop. I love this knife for back pocket carry on the weekend and I use it often. Would love to get a 71 in the same configuration. I'm loving that Osage Orange.

73's are pretty cool too

Bull Busters...Here's one with a ZT 0566 for scale. Bull busters are big

That's an old daily carry pic. All I have right now is a Spyderco Ulize :)

The ZT is a 3.25" blade, the Bull Nose is .25" longer IIRC.

I love the bullnose, and it carries pretty large in the pocket. Can't imagine the bullbuster being a great EDC unless it goes in a sheath. Then, it'd probably be awesome.

A lot of times I carry it right along side my wallet in my back jeans pocket where it can be pulled out easily - a bullnose would sit too low. Other times I carry it in a leather slip in my front pocket. I actually have a sheath for my Bull Nose where it rides horizontally on my belt.

I have a Bull Buster in Osage Orange that is my favorite slip joint. It's comfortable in hand and just a great working knife! I have it on a lanyard with a small metal hook on the end which hooks onto the edge of my front pocket. This keeps it vertical and from printing across the bottom of the pocket.

Bull Busters are great working knives. I just don't get to carry mine enough.
