Just scored this one, (the 'bay) a GEC made Bulldog #23 Pioneer liner lock, with brimstone winterbottom scales! I am really excited, I have been contemplating a Brimstone Pioneer, and this one just came along for about 40.00 bucks cheaper than anywhere listed! Sometimes, your just at the right place, right time!

I have two bull dogs, one wharncliffe whittler, with a real stout wharncliffe main blade, I love it. Also, a Bulldog Moose from the 90s. I dig that one too.

Thats a real sweet one. I kinda like Bulldogs too, Have a 1st gen stag Stockman that I put up for sale and promptly withdrew when my lapse in sanity ended lol.

You got a bargain there, the GEC made stuff is better quality than the contemporary Bulldogs.

I am assuming that the knife will be exactly the same as the Tidioute Pioneer, just with different markings.

Very nice! I like the shield, the winterbottom scales and the matchstrike nail nick. What is the steel on this one? 1095 or a stainless steel?

It is 1095. :D Which means that big logo is gonna get the cutting up some stew trick to remove it.
