GEC Bullnose

I got got a Gec Bullnose yesterday . This is my first knife with 01 steel and I was wondering how the 01 Steel compares to GEC 1095 steel in edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. Have any of you guys used your Bullnose enough to know how well the 01 steel?

I have used mine for a couple of months. I have other knives in 1095 by a Case, GEC, and Queen. I think the O1 is a good steel. I found that it took a finer edge than my 1095 knives but is about the same from an edge retention, wear resistence, corrosion resistence, and ease of sharpening.
 
I went ahead and sharpened the knife today it took a razor sharp edge pretty easy. I will have to try it out and see how well it holds that edge.
