OK call out thread folks.

Who has one of these great knives that are almost impossible to find? This is my burnt stag #62 Courthouse Whittler and my EDC. Awesome knife by Great Eastern Cutlery.

The 2013 Bladeforums knife had a similar shape to it but was different.

I had a beautiful garnet jigged bone one which I gifted to Cory a while ago. One of GECs finest that I simply didn't carry enough. A great example, a fine pattern with near sunken joints, just lovely.

 
They really hit a homerun with this knife.
Well made with the usual GEC quality and a great whittler!

The tidioute is my first GEC ever, I picked up the spring green Northfield, aka the pickle, a few years later. One of my favorite patterns

It's funny, I've never much cared for pinched bolsters, and usually prefer the simpler design of the Tidioute versions, but I'm really liking the way the Northfield embellishments look on these knives.

I hope GEC does another run of these, but my wallet hopes they don't!
 
A pattern that I have long admired and while I have bought and gifted a couple, I have never managed to get a hold of one for me!
But one day...
Until then please keep sharing pics and thoughts on them so that I can drool.
 
I had a Stag version I gave away. What I really liked was an early Tidioute version in jigged Raisin Bone. Or am I confusing it with another pattern?

Yes that's the one! Should've bought one new when I had the chance, a great Prop shield on it too.

Also like the Queen Half Congress in Winterbottom, a fine example:cool::thumbup:

I've wanted one of these for awile myself. It's so popular I don't know why they haven't done a new run on them. Maybe this will be the year :D
