the snake, green bone, & smooth ram are all the classic 53 stockman. the mammoth ivory is the 53 cattleman stock with the 53 musk in stag.--dennis

Nice lineup. They are all pretty, but man, that snakewood is starting to do a number on me....i see a purchase in the near future. -Ben

Sweet collection, Dennis! Especially that ram's horn and snakewood.:thumbup:

I mulled it over too long and missed them both in my preferred seller's store. Finally saw the light today and ordered an ebony :D:thumbup:

Beautiful line up Dennis! The snakewoods you show are always a treat but man oh man that mammoth made me wolf whistle at my computer. Thanks for showing yet another great set of knives.
Dan

Dennis, some people have been saying that the snakewood has "fallen off" lately, but yours has beautiful grain.

Is the green jig as dark as it looks in all the pics? In every picture I've seen it only looks green at the very ends, while the majority of the scale just looks black.

jeff it appears that gec has returned with snake that has an impressive wood figure. in fact i find myself opting for snake over ebony in preferance. truthfully the green jigged i cannot suggest, the knife has no burrs on any surface & overall the northfield characteristics are well done. for some reason green bone seems to be hard to produce in a super attractive model. i wonder if green can be done in jelly bone that doe'nt glow in the dark. sorry about the pics but i just could'nt do the knives credit. in the sunlight the green jigged will probably be more attractive but i ca'nt recommend that handle. we really need a nice brown bone 53.---dennis

All very nice Dennis. I like the green one very much. Aren't you missing the Bumble Bee?
