Now that easy pocket congress is something else. I really like that one. That ebony scale on that mink is quite unusual looking and has beautiful pattern.

The snakewood on the Dogleg looks great Dennis. The interior ram's horn has a different look than I would have expected. Obviously it has to be finished smooth, but most of the ram's horn I've seen has a somewhat translucent green color to it. It's been nice to see GEC coming out with some slimmer models over the last year or so. I really need to pick up one of the Doglegs. I think there's one out there somewhere with frontier bone calling my name.:D

Yeah..that congress is something all right, attractive scales for sure, but that smooth bone is a beaut as well-its very hard to try and pick out the better out of such a line up of great knives!!

Dennis, very nice. You have my three favorite patterns in there. The serpentine, dogleg, and mink. All very comfortable in the pocket and in the hand. I love that abalone. I don't own any but have always found it attractive.

What sort of encircled blade stamp do the ones on the end have?

It's an etch of three P's in a circle. PPP stands for Pattern Production Premier and as I understand it, this is put on the first batch of knives for a new pattern.

Pure eye candy, Dennis. The dogleg and the ram's horn are singing their Siren song to me . . . willpower fading . . . helllllllpp . . . :p

Another stunning display, Dennis.

Love the dogleg pattern since I picked up a primitive bone model. Now I'm starting to really get into the snakewood..... I feel an order coming up soon!

All very nice, as usual, Dennis. Might I say that you have a heavy load to bear?:eek:;):). Thanks for showing!

That Ram's Horn is certainly eye-catching.

Anyone know if it's a stable scale material or is it prone to shrink and worms like other horn?

willgoy i think all horn can be attacked by bettles. i understand that some earlier horn from gec had shrinkage but that now the horn is aged. boy i really hope that is the case. the knife tube should protect from bettles. --dennis

Not that I would refuse a gift of any of these, but the ebony and the snakewood are especially tantilizing.

Nice collection, Dennis.

I know I don't really have to say it, but Dennis you have the most incredible GEC collection! Your collection contains all my favorites too!
