I was wondering what the thickness was on the GEC Bird & Trout? Also how does it compare to the Canoe Hunter?

Thanks - Pat.

h731110-3-and-antamber-cph.jpgH73210-burnt-stag.jpgBoth knives are built on the #73 Scout Trapper sized frame. I'm not sure which "thickness" you are asking about. The handles are the same thickness as the 73 folder. The blades are tapered from front to back 1/16" to 1/8".

I'd like to see some comparison pics if anyone has any. I have one of the #23 based hunters and as you can see, the blade is bigger than the folders. I don't remember but I think the blade spine is thicker too

The description of the Bird & Trout mentions some flex to the blade. This leads me to believe it is a bit thinner than the Canoe Hunter.

While I'm sure the Queen knives are nice, it's the GEC fixed blades I'm interested in.
