I was hoping to get some help and opinions from everybody:
I have been doing some very basic whittling, of twigs and such, and have been mostly using Case in the 3.25-3.5" range. I also used a SAK that was thicker/wider and it seemed more comfy in the hand. Which led me to consider this as an excuse for another knife, specifically something a little larger (in the 4" handle range) and maybe a GEC...
I know the GEC Whittler is not exactly a traditional whittler, and I am wondering if people consider it an able whittler, or if I should consider something else? I was also considering a Case Humpback whittler (I like the black G-10 version a lot) or a Queen in the zebra wood, or the slightly larger Seahorse... I am considering going with a bigger handle, which is one of the things that led me to consider GEC.
Any input you may have is welcome-
