Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about getting a gec h10 fixed blade. Does anyone have a picture of this knife with a patina to help sell me even more? I have searched but cannot find one.

Thanks, JDC

LOL I've had mine about 2 months and like it a lot. It's not much of a patina yet but here you go...

Good to see yours has been in use arizonaranchman. I was wondering how you were liking it... looks like it's working out for you. They sure are good lookin knives!

New pic may not be of much help but it's the only one I have.

Arizonaranchman, thanks for the reply, you are the man! awesome pic, that is exactly what I was looking for! You just hurt my wallet with that. Because as soon as I seen that I bought one!

And redsparrow, it's not patina, but it's a great pic, I'm really digging the wood handles! Thanks for the reply!

It's a great little knife. Very well made and I like the lines/design. The sheath is also excellent - well made and well designed.

Did you go with the cocobolo handles or bone? Share pics when it arrives!

I have to agree on the H10 being a great knife...a great small EDC knife. Mine doesn't have any patina as it is Stainless. It's my daughters favorite steak knife, always requests it when she visits.
I do have one with 1095 but haven't used it yet.

Can anyone tell me the stock thickness for the Stainless H10, please? The design is growing on me a bit.

What a great pair of knives Steve! I love that Beer Scout

I measured my H10 in 1095 at the tang where the stamping is... .091"

I doubt the stainless H10 would be different, but perhaps someone else can confirm.

Thanks AZranchman!
Just checked and the SS and 1095 are about the same, by feel. although the 1095 on mine visually seems to be ground slightly thinner.

Thank you, arizonaranchman and swaybacksteve! Those Bone Marrow and Cocobola examples are exquisite.

I cant wait until my GEC fixed blades look like arizonaranchmans. I have an H10 and an H23 in brown and orange marrow bone.

Dug out the 1095 H10...I think I'll start using it.
patina pics will follow

here's a picture of H73 from 2010 that is part of my steak knife set.

Does anyone edc this thing? I think that's what my plan for this knife is.
