Not exactly. They look similar when looking at pictures, but when you compare them in person, you'll find that they're different. The #71 is wider at the butt, but narrower in the center. The blades are also not merely reversed shapes...although it's possible that they might come from the same waterjet cut blanks. I've tried taking a picture of them stacked, but perspective and parallax prevents demonstrating this with a simple photo.
I believe the #47 is actually the #74 handle reversed. But the #71 handle is unique to itself.
As for which to get, they're both great utility knives. The #47's straight blade works wonderfully for cutting up boxes, bags, etc. The upswept tip and curved belly of the #71 is better suited to things like food prep and bush work.
The 2 blade Hayn' Helper is a pretty sizable knife. The black/orange delrin single blade ones are nicely round and comfortable in the hand, but produce a nice lump in the pocket. The 2 blade is rather thick and heavy in the pocket. The NifeBrite acrylic versions have thinner handles and thus are more pocketable. In fact, the 2 blade #47 in acrylic is barely thicker than the single blade in delrin.
Bull Nose (Red Neck) on left, 2 blade Hayn' Helper NifeBrite acrylic on right.
