red stag--orange jigged--bocote jigged--wharne ebony--warne stag--frontier--blue jigged & stag
many users of this pattern love the silky easy opening plus it can serve as a hard user or even go to work with you unless state law prohibits. certainly one of gecs most attractive patterns & hopefully we'll see more models.--dennis

nice pic Dennis!
handled about 3 in a group buy some months ago and liked them, incredibly smooth with a nice lock sound and precision, unfortunately none of them were for me
I like the last stag one on the right and also the frontier (one of my favourite handles)
as usual great pic and collection, you have so many I can't belive it

Dennis,
Fine display as usual. Did they make an ebony clip version? (assume not, or you'd likely have it?)

Beauties, Dennis. I've never seen the jigged bocote before, but I like it. Thanks.

Nice collection Dennis. I see you don't have the Ruby Red Bone version. I've got one coming and will post a picture of it when it gets here. Your burnt stag one looks especially nice.

Yes sir you have a nice collection for sure.
I'm constantly keeping a look out for a new run of this model, esp a clip point ebony.

That ebony Wharncliffe is just about perfect. I'll have to find one of those.

The blade on the knife with the frontier bone looks particularly fine.

A nice collection!

Those are terrific Dennis. I only have the burnt orange version that I won recently, and I love it. I wish I would have bought more when they were readily avaialable.

wish i had picked up more of these because maynot see any new models for a while. the clip ebony was'nt produced as far as i know, black mamba & joe bob along with eswartz have a better production knowledge than i. the anticipated spear lockback was projected but may not hit the field.--dennis

Yeah, they never made the spear point versions. I dunno if they are still planned or not. There are also alot of us who want the larger Pioneer frame lockback; it would be a #22.

Nice lineup of #72s there, Dennis. Definitely one of my favorite GEC patterns. I'm surprised they don't make more of them. The demand is certainly there, especially for the clip points. Most dealers have been sold out for quite a while. I've been chaffing at the bit for a spear version, but they never materialize :(.

BTW, I've always wondered why you tend to photograph the reverse sides of your GECs more often then the obverse sides. Not that I'm complaining.

Get this the heck out of here... I already almost landed on the couch last night convincing the fiance (after a couple glasses of wine, of course) to let me budget $100 for my first GEC stockman.

I don't want to sleep in the doghouse, nights are still pretty cold here.

i have tried to do better photos but fell short these months. no one here that has any ability to guide me. i think i could do better with a presence that could see my set up & show me how to improve. this needs hands on advice since i have tried different light setups. i usually try to show handles in best scenario so the unshielded scale seems to give a better look at handle material.--dennis

The Spear lockback is still on the cards from what I read.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Hogan produced as a lockback either.

Here's the Ruby Red Bone version I said I had coming.

And here's the Stonewashed Blue version I got a week or so ago.

Good idea!! If they come out with a white one, I'll surely get it.:)
