I just had a look at the What's happening page and it seems like they've started cutting blades for an unnamed pattern.

I've gotta say they look MIGHTY similar to the secondary blades on the #79 Workhorse

Alright folks, get your guesses in, what's it gonna be??

according to the comments on the what's happening page its for an unnamed pattern. Also the outlaw doesn't have a wharncliffe I believe.

Both blades look around the same length to me. hmmm... ...maybe a two blade peanut trapper (trappernut in Case lingo) with a wharncliffe secondary --I'd buy that.

Strange coincidence, eh?

I've gotta say the resemblence is striking. Just guesstimating based on the the scale of the piece paper in the box it looks like the clip blades are about 3.25-3.75 in total length. That seems about right for a 3.862in 2012 forum knife :D

IF those are the 2012 Forum knives getting worked-on, that means the knives will be ready by mid-September? Woo Hoo!

The order has been placed for 250 Forum knives! So those could be the blades!!

Well, if that stuff isn't for the forum knife, then they are making somebody else something mighty similar. If it is the forum knife, they are moving on it very quickly. I'm thinking it is. Too many similarities to be coincedence...

Time for a Happy Dance!

I just feel sorry for those folks who have promised their wives that the 2012 Traditional Forum Knife will be their CHRISTMAS PRESENT!

I could not wait that long, knowing it was sitting in a box (tube) somewhere just out of sight.

I know what you mean here, but it can be read another way (wink, wink).

Oh my, if I ever gave my wife a knife for Christmas I would be in serious hot water!

Couldn't those blades fit in the new Outlaw Jack frame? If so, wouldn't that make a nice gunstock wharncliff trapper....kind of like a maverick trapper?
