GEC Natural Stag and Shield

About a week ago I ordered an EO 85 with natural stag. I love this knife and it is in perfect in all regards. If I had to nitpick with one issue it would be that I wished there was no shield. So I was sitting around and read the tube that it came in and this is what it says "We have purposefully ommitted the shield and needless burning that would deface the natural stag character." So with those who know more about the subject please chime in? As always, thanks in advance.

I got the same! seems they mis-labelled the tubes, my dealer sent me a replacement sticker with the correct Natural Stag wording. They'd labelled them as Genuine Stag, they don't have inlet shields.

Apart from that mishap, the knife itself is stellar, no issues at all and is one of the very best I own. The serial No. is 04. Hope this clarifies it a bit.
