I was going to order one of these knives that Queen Cutlery Company is bringing out in their Schatt & Morgan line as the Heritage Series "A 100 Year Legacy Reborn". The ebony scaled knife with the spear blade would be my first choice.

GEC has recently come out with a series of knives with spear blades and one of them is available with ebony scales so I have ordered the below knife.

Yes, the GEC pattern is different from the Schatt & Morgan pattern but it is close enough to tide me over until I can get one of the Schatt & Morgan knives.

I'll post some pics of the GEC knife when it comes in as well as the Schatt & Morgan knife when I get it.

I think the swedged, spear blade on the GEC knife looks great.
 
Those both look like good choices, Ed.

I have had one of those Schatt's in the back of my mind too.
Time will tell if I pull the trigger on one or not.

I would like to see a real photo of one before I make a purchase if they don't sell out too fast.
 
I know I started the thread about the #56 spear but I haven't ordered one... I ordered 2 of the spear Heritage Jacks in ebony (the ones on the left and right) instead. I really hope they turn out great.

Ed, do you have a #56 clip as well? I'd love to see some comparison pics between the clip and spear jacks. Looks like the spear is straighter.

I like both knives also in ebony so I ordered a GEC 56 spearpoint that should be here shortly and also paid for a slot for the Schatt & Morgan ebony spear point.
 
I ordered both the large (S&M) jack with spear and the smaller one. Both in ebony. I have no idea when I'll get them, but they are on order. I'm thinking I'm going to like the heritage series knives. - Ed
