So this lovely little piece arrived today. The following are just some very early impressions (I'd like to stress that point). More pics and detailed impressions to come as the days goes by.

This is easily my smallest traditional that I own. The overall fit and finish is very good. Pinched bolsters, no blade rub, smooth handles. However the blades don't have as much snap as my other two GEC's. That just might be the nature of this beast. Time will tell. The blades were actually sharp (a trait my previous two GEC's did not posses), but I will still end up re-profiling them to a thinner edge. I know the steel is HT'd well.

Beautiful knife! Congratulations! Looks like those stag scale will give you a nice grip! Well done!

Hubba Hubba! AHOOOGA! What a beauty!

Congrats on that one!

That package right there is absolutely drool-worthy. GEC just smashed this one out of the park.

Very nice! When they say burnt stag they mean it! I heard that little guy talk on the video; sounds good to me.

Nice handle and a nice blade shape. Thank you for sharing this.

Kind regards
Andi

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I look forward to reprofiling them and putting them through some testing. I carried it today, and it sliced open envelopes and packaging pretty well. The thin blades are quite nice. The stag handles are really growing on me.

Wow...that's one great looking knife. Congrats. Great idea on the video as it really give a great perspective of the knife.

You've got a sweet looking Conductor there, man.

There was a challenge sometime last year to use only one knife for an entire month; I chose my Conductor (tortoise scales) since it was relatively unused at the time. After the month of constant use the Conductor and I bonded, and now I fully admire and respect the useful little folder. Picked up a nice bit of patina during the month, too.

Enjoy using yours, it's a great pattern that can really grow on you after time.
