What GEC patterns are good for pocket carry. I realize that GEC knives tend to be heavier than say many Case knives.
I want a lighter white GEC, that is thin with 1 or preferably 2 blades. I don't want it to be too long either when closed. Blades need to be big enough for everday tasks such as eating apples, opening mail/boxes, etc.

I was thinking:
White owl
Bullet
conductor
Pemberton
Cuban pen

The boys jacks and Toms Choice barlows are perfect for what you're looking for. A little bigger, the 73 single blade pattern is the best option for a carrying knife out there, in my opinion. I carry a single blade ebony Charlow, and a 73 Beaver Tail with jigged Brazilian cherry wood. I could get by with one, but remember the old saying. Three is two, two is one, and one is none!

Any of the ones you mentioned look like good choices to me.

White Owl or #15 single blade Boy's Knife would good choices. Can't comment on TK Cuban but one should be landing tomorrow...

The #15 is a great size. I like my #66 too :)

If you (joepa) are referring to the #85 bullet-end jack, I'd probably cross that off the list. I love mine terribly, but it is definitely a heavy knife. Like the above posters, I'd highly recommend the boy's knife.

The #15 Boy's Knife is actually my favorite pattern that GEC makes. I own a clip and a spear, both two blade versions. And while they are my favorite pattern, I don't carry them very often because they are rather noticeable in my pocket and I prefer something slimmer. The single blade versions would definitely fit that bill, but I prefer two blade knives. For this reason, I recommend the 68 White Owl, 33 Conductor, or my new favorite, the 57 Halfwhitt. You may also consider the half-congress pattern.

Pembertons are excellent for urban EDC, but might be too short for apple duty.
