Hey guys, I was wondering if GEC has made a peanut pattern knife yet? I've picked up a few GECs in the last couple of years and am really impressed with their quality. I would like to pick up a GEC peanut if they are available. I have an old two blade Case peanut from the 60s and a single blade Camillus peanut already, but I would really love a GEC-quality peanut. However, looking at their website to try to figure out what they have made in the past has me a bit confused. Does anyone know if they ever made a peanut, or have plans to do so in the future?

Unfortunately they have never made a peanut. The #06 Pemberton, #09 Esquire, and the #22 Magnum might be worth taking a look at though.

No peanut yet, the #06 Pemberton or the #22 Magnum patterns are probably their closest. Both are around 2¾" closed.

I'm really surprised they haven't made a peanut yet. I'm sure it would be a hit.

I'd be all over a Northfield version of the Peanut. Long-pull and with pen behind just like Case does it!

Autumn Gold bone... African Blackwood... :)

Oh, HECK YES!!! in spades...maybe a limited run of walnut and 3rd cut? Just trying to fuel the fire.

A nice small dogleg Jack pattern (i. e. Peanut) would make a nice addition to GEC´s setup, for sure.

The Pemberton somehow didn´t itch me somehow, while the #22 with its small gunstock frame is a real looker, imho.

The thing is, many, many companies have made peanuts over the years but only one company made it their own. Whenever anyone says peanut, you automatically think case.

That being said, I would of course be very interested in a great eastern peanut.
