Recommendation? GEC Rendezvous 2018

Let’s talk about the upcoming 2018 GEC Rendezvous. Is anybody getting excited? This will be my first time and I’ll be coming from Virginia with my relatives.

Let’s talk some details. Does anyone have hotel recommendations? Are there good places to eat that are local?

If we come up for multiple days will there be enough to do? How long do the tours take? Should I bring all my knives in case there is some trading going on?

Some nice local restaurants. I prefer the local mom and pop places to eating at Pizza Hut myself. I liked the Blue Canoe for a beer and Sams for supper, a nice family restaurant and Missy's Arcade had a nice lunch menu, everything and a coke!

The Quality inn in Titusville is very comfortable with good staff and I recall the knife folks meeting in the breakfast room at night to chat.

The Oil well museum is worth a visit. Nice main street for a stroll in the evening and lots going on because it is a festival weekend with street bands and food trucks and the wine tour in full swing.

Should be fun!
