GEC Rendezvous Knife Prices

I was thinking about heading out to the Great Eastern Cutlery Rendezvous to buy a knife. I don't own any GEC knives, and from what I hear the knives are greatly inflated in the secondary market. With that said, I have no idea what any of the original knives cost. I'm sure it varies from model to model. But, can someone give me some examples of knives they bought at the rendezvous and the prices they paid. I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking to spend under $200, preferably between $75 and $150.

Thanks in advance. :)

This thread will help you:

Someone has taken the time to compile authorized retailers prices for the last several GEC releases. This should give you a good idea what the minimum selling price for each item is (or should be...).

Be prepared, the secondary markup on most GECs is very steep and they are rarely worth the mark up. The few that I own are appropriately priced for the primary market sellers.

I last went to the rendezvous in 2016. At that time there were several dozen knives for sale in the store in the $70-$110 range.

I picked up a Ben Hogan and a Eureka Jack from the store. I think I paid somewhere around $70 for the Ben Hogan and maybe $85 - $90 for the Eureka.

If you are hoping to get the official Rendezvous Knife you'd probably pay a similar price, but be prepared to show up in the middle of the night and wait in line for them to open at 9:00.

Beautiful knives. This was the response what I was looking for. :)

I also wrote their sales staff over at GEC. I got a response from Joan; she said the knives for sale on site range from $60.00 to $180.00...it depends on the number of blades, handle material, all kinds of things.
