gec sabre profile

the gec sabre grind is shown by the blood red bone --burnt stag--& the snakewood. i prefer the sabre grind since it has the northfield higher polish & makes a good looking tooth. however the flat grind is a better slicer eventho one sacrifices some blade strength.most times the flat grind is a glaze finish in the tiduotes but as members know when it comes to gec classification nothing is written in stone.

That blood red bone version is the one that almost got me to buy my first GEC made knife. Was so very close... :thumbup:
 
Dennis, I've got a burnt stag sabre grind as well--looks more like a fightin' knife with that blade!
 
The toothpick is one of my favorite GEC patterns. I will try to get pictures; I have an old digital camera and no lightbox thingy so it's hard to get good shots.
