Does anyone else wish that GEC would at least occasionally show what is coming up in the near future rather than what is currently in production? It would be nice to know what is on the schedule so that you could maybe pre-order and get one before the flippers grab them all. Of course they would still likely buy them up anyway.

Well in a way they do, just not directly. The end of the hall photos give hints as to upcoming knives, you've just got to decipher what they mean.

I like the way they do it. It adds some fun and intrigue for us knife dorks. A formal production schedule would be good for planning, but feels too transactional.

Funny that you say it now, when currently we know their schedule for about 3-4 models ahead approximately (82, 93, 91, and some gunstock?).

I like knowing stuff, but I think I like mysteries and surprises even more.

If I knew everything that was gonna happen - what would be the point in continuing on?

Just tell your dealer you will take one of anything GEC makes. Then sell what you don't want. Pre-orders don't thwart flippers, they can pre-order the same as you.

They also announce their schedule in other, more subtle ways. Tell me the shape of the shield on the 78 Richlite isn’t an obvious announcement of the 32 that followed.
