So whats the diff?

other than bone handle, spey blade, and gec's crazy tough springs, what else am i gonna miss if i buy the 20-30 dollar barlow, vs the ~80 dollar SRPNT?

im looking for a large slipjoint for around the yard EDC, maybe even while hunting etc.

Either will serve you fine. But, what are you going to miss by going with the $20 Barlow? Pride of ownership. My opinion only, of course.

Sound like me trying to get my wife into that HHR and quit looking at the Tahoe...

the gec 1095 at 58 r.r. is going to outcut a barlow by case or anything else but a big barlow by queen in d2 . the queen in d2 is going to be lots more than 20$. i'm not sure queen makes a barlow in d2. i've tested the knives on cardboard twice & know the results .also my tests were vindicated by knarfeng on sisal rope some months back.

+1

Functionality vs Form

Functionality:
The $22 Queen Counrty Cousin in delrin in D2 is a workhorse

Form:
GEC SRPNT with those bone handle, 1095 spey blade, and crazy tough springs
