Here are some photos of the Tractor Green GEC Tidioute Single Blade Scout (#735109) which arrived in the mail today. It's my first from Great Eastern and I think I'm hooked. The Scout has a great heft and obvious high quality workmanship. There's a half stop, which I'm not too fond of but can tell I'll get used to it on this baby. The spring is stiff, but there's plenty to grip to open the blade up easily enough. Stiffer than my large and medium Case stockman, but by no means is it a fingernail extractor.

Thanks to you all for posting up such great info in this forum. If it weren't for you folks, I'd never have known about these great little folders.

I like those green scales. I just got my first from gec also, a northfield sunfish. I think I'm hooked also. Very high quality.
