the story was at 11 charlie was selected to be a pony express rider but when railroad was completed the xpress was discontinued.charlie at age 81 rode from coast to coast to celebrate the xpress 70th birthday.thanks to mike latham & joe bob for info & assistance in getting background info & knives.
