Gecko in grain pattern

Check this out, in the lower right side of the grain pattern looks like a Gecko looking back at you. Maybe it is just me, but that is so cool. Yes it has been a long week at work.

Look at the first post, that is one, bottom right hand side, 2 eyes and small smile just under the eyes.

driwash......I have its exact twin that was cut from the same piece of Bocote.....!!!

This pic shows this large Bocote 21 from when it was being sold about a year ago. This was before it was bead blasted all over. This is what the seller had sent me. I showed him a pic of mine and we had a laugh.





I did not buy it because this is the Large Bocote 21 I already have....!!! You can see that it's cut from the same slab of Bocote. It's a small world after all......lol

That's interesting. While it makes sense to match the grain as much as possible I hadn't realized the inlays on a sebenza are from basically from the same spot on the same piece of wood.
