Geeky cool!

I got one of those grills-ina-tube twenty years ago. Only they didn't use the Geek" angle for marketing. Works great. No "fire bowl" available then.
 
that bowl looks just like the steamer i got at a store for vegtables for about $5. the nice thing about the steamer is that it has lots of small holes that would let the air in. You might find it at Ralphs too. I had never even thought about using it for fire..... great idea.

Well-spotted. Veggie steamer also comes in version without holes (steam fills pot above level of veggies so no holes needed), but mine is aluminum. I would how well it would hold up to fire. Any SS ones out there?
 
Hi Thomas the one i got is SS and all the ones i seen were SS. I guess it should hold well in the fire.

good for you Biker but i dont drink coffee so there. I have a need to fancy usless stuff. But if realy wanted to point a finger. I just make a small hole put some rocks around it and viola i got all the making for a camp fire *L^. lol yea yea i know im being smart again.
