Man, I hope I'm not Knuts here, but I need to confess .............

I ran into some finacial difficulties just recently and I could only come up with one logical answer to cure the problem. I sold all my knives except for the ones I bought for my kids of course! Got me out of my finacial bind, but now I have no knives to my name!

A buddy of mine did give me one of his knives which he knew I liked very much so, but I had to put that away, toooo good to want to use! This I shall keep quite though! Thanks Buddy!

Well, I did have to have one to carry. I had enough cash left out of the sale so I went to my local cutlery store to pick out one decent knife for myself. And low and behold, I chose the CRKT M16-14. Why, price was right, knife size and style was right, and it just plain looked cool! So, this is now my only true knife I have that I can carry. I guess one is better than none though when it comes right down to it!

Oh yeah, I had to order a couple more of these you know, for my twin boys and my daughter! She even wanted one, Go figure, that's a first!

Ahhh, now I feel good that I confessed up!

Yeap, I'm finding out how great my CRKT is ... even cut my thumb on it already, that's how great it is!

Thank you Louis for the thought and suggestion! Hey, thanks in advance to all that take Louis up on this wonderful idea of his!

Louis, I assume you will be using the old 'United Way' technique for your new 'save Mark's knives' fund? You know, where you get to keep about 90% of donations as 'management fees', and you forward the remaing 10% or less to the needy (like Mark).

Sorry to hear about your problem Mark. However, try to look at the bright side. Now you get to start collecting knives all over again. There seems to be no shortage of great knives to drool over. Maybe you should just collect pics for a while you finalize the plans for the your next money making venture. You should try charity, like Louis. It seems to be potentially very lucrative

Why, there's a different way I could do it?!?!

Sorry to hear about this situation, Mark. I saw Louis' post about the evil ballistic knife and I bet if he actually had one (which he obviously doesn't) he would not be able to send it to you anyways (since that is WAY illegal). Your best bet is his united way plan so I'll send him 6 Loveless knives I've just got laying around in the hopes you might get one.

Mark, I was feeling all sorry for myself because my job situation is a little iffy at the moment and I can't buy any new knives. Then I read of your situation and I realized things could be worse, I'm sorry for your misfortune. I'm working on a deal right now that if it works out I'll never have to work for anyone again. If it works out I'll be sure to let you in on it.

Geez, thanks guys, it feels good to have friends here! Now, I'll have to sit back and hope a Loveless knife makes it my way!

Hey, good luck to you too PhilL, hope it works out for you!

What Jim said.

Go for it Mark. There is a lot of oppurtunity out there and you will do fine.

You have Para's "bright side" to look forward to when you get things settled down.

Financial bind = no more knives...yikes that hurts...glad to see you worked your way thru it and hopefully 'poverty' was short lived. I think for some of us we sometimes buy a blade as a kind of 'reward' for our hard work. A small yet useful item of discerable quality that brings pleasure to the user is a certain value. May all your future blades be great ones.

THANKS GUYS FOR THE CHEER! As a matter of fact, I do have another knife coming my way tomorrow .... the SOG ARC LOCK Titanium version Vision #68. And yeap, I'm still hooked! The reason I know I am is I'm away from my work where I access BladeForums at, at the Public Library now!

See, once a Knife Knutt, always a Knife Knutt!
biggrin.gif
Just new knife purchases will have to come far and in-between for me from here on out! Instead of weekly or monthly
biggrin.gif
, maybe every few months instead. Time will tell though
