Here is a Gelbu Special made and marked by Bura and it is about as close to perfection as you can come doing things by hand. The fit is excellent and the finish is magic stone mirror. Hardness is 59 to 60 Rc -- excellent. Beautiful fullered karda and good chakma. Scabbard made and tooled by sarki with no name. 100 year HI superfrog.

So, what's wrong with this rig? The khukuri has a very small crack (1/16 - 1/8 inch) on the blade edge just about even with the forward side of the cho. I can't tell if this is a fold line or a little crack that popped when the edge was hardened but whatever it is we will send the knife with full guarantee. Knife was sent as a blem.

Awesome! I'm surprised it lasted so long. I always miss it by a couple minutes. I was really sad I missed the 23 inch chainpuri but this makes up for it. Thanks Uncle Bill!
