Just got delivery of a batch of SAK's off of eBay. The description didn't provide any models, just counts of boxed and unboxed so I was curious to see what I had gotten for my money. Turns out I did pretty well.

Without Boxes
1 Tinker
1 Mountaineer (original without hook)
1 Champion

New in Original Boxes
7 Red Pioneers
5 Electricians (without key ring)
1 Waiter
1 Spartan

One pretty rare knife:

1 Safari Trooper (no box and no saw protector)

And two real gems:

2 Scientists in original boxes!!!!

I guess you could say I did pretty well... :D:D:D

You really did get one heck of a deal.
You got lucky that the seller didn't post any details, so nobody rally bid.
pretty good in my book.

I'm kind of curious about the price you paid, if I might be so bold as to ask. That is a nice haul.

Thanks! I paid around $3.50 a knife, so around 70 bucks, shipped. Not cheap, but still less than I've paid for some individual knives.

Wow, what a deal. You could cover your cost by selling just one of the most valuable pieces.

I have a Safari Hunter Stag on sale

Can accept a GAK from Victorinox or Aitor manuf.

Sold for $65 shipped / PayPal

Cheers,

SAKV.

I haven't done that well, but i did get an explorer recently along with a decent climber and huntsman for the price that I would have happily paid for the explorer (hook and old magnifier, so a good one) I've got plus scales on the way for a compact I picked up (finally found a couple for less than near msrp) that needs a new scale, and I might ruby plus the explorer as well.
