Received Hawk from Vector001 today First impression ( WELL DONE ) :D
She's a Beauty all 36" of her. Fit and finish is top knotch. The texture
on the handle makes it feel great in hand.
It is going to come in very handy with my outdoor photography, hiking, etc.
The removable bolts in the head and foot can be changed with certain
accessories and I can also store small items inside the handle. Great design :)
Now I just have to take the time to put it to good use. Will follow up with some pic's in the near future. Thanks vec and Ms vec.
 
I have been privy to a good portion of the build process. There is a little bit of crazy and a lot of love in each hawk. And a whooooole lot of caffeine.
Wait 'til you see what else he has cookin'...

I think Ol Vec's got some "Big Time Plan's for TomaHawk & Axe Performance & Improvment's, "And Close To Being Indestuctable" I'm waiting to see the New Fast Axe !
 
thanks, brother dust' - enjoy that.

unsolicited advice; get a long stainless 10-24 bolt with a small head, and thread it through one of those plugs in reverse of the normal direction, and you have an instant camera mount that takes no room in your pocket - you can actually just use it instead of the other bolt if you prefer, in the same fashion - the length of the long bolt will just extend into the tube, which ya might like.

you are welcome, brother - check me on that 10 - 24 spec though;

i have been building so hard these last few weeks, i am starting to lose my memory for details - nothing some rest can't fix, but i will do that when i am dead....


enjoy that hawk - i'll buy her back from you any day without a peep, she is really zombie-whapolicious to me. she was one of the first Gen 1 Mk 4's, and the longest one of that variant i have done so far (though thanks to you, every buddy wants one now ...:D).

enjoy, and thanks for being so worthy of such a great thing - you two should go well together.

BTW - brother 7.62 wasn't too lucky - i drank all his booze and made him work as slave labor - and that viking thought he was having fun - i even convinced him to invite me up to his place for some hawks and arrows....

i think i should make all the Investors my business partners, so we can all write off foolin' around in the woods.

funny how ya don't get so angry at the corrupt government when you learn from their dirty tricks - maybe they have just been benevolently trying to teach us all these years, and we are being difficult by being so honest and fair-dealing...:confused: ...hmmmmm....


i'd like to show 'em some benevolent teaching...:D....
