Here is a copy of the email I just sent to Gene.
Do yourself a favor and get a copy. It is more than 3 hours long and PACKED with info.
The email:
Hi Gene
I received and watched your new video and cannot thank you enough for making
it, and making it available. My opportunities to spend time with
experienced makers is very limited, and your video was thought out and
executed very well and left me with no unanswered questions.
I look forward to reviewing it many more times to pick up parts I missed.
There is a TON of info in your tape, and I was on overload by the time I
finished it
After watching you use the tool, I sent an email to MSC and they returned
the tool info you spoke about in your post. I have ordered one and look
forward to using it.
After seeing your tape I feel as though we spent a day in the shop together.
You are very unassuming and I appreciate that you didn't present 'The only
way' or run down other methods or makers. I have many books and several
other videos, but none nearly as info packed as yours. I think you have the
makings of a terrific book there, too. It would be easier to reference the
book right out in the shop.
Don't want to keep you up all night reading about your video- but I really
enjoyed it.
Thanks and best regards,
Dave
