general knife care & maintenace

Please refer me to any sites or old threads on knife PMCS. Just want to keep good care of my knives & keep them squared away for a long time.

Try doing a search of lubes,polishes,cleaning, and so forth. I think every guy/gal here has their own particular method of babying their steel. You might also check storage as knives may not stay "squared away" under certain conditions.

I like to leave a thin coating of oil on the blade before storing. Or you can put your knives in a small box with Bullfrog rust preventer. Look up Bullfrog on the internet.

I just brush off pocket lint with an old toothbrush and wipe on some Eezox with a rag.

Still like new!

I suppose it's a good thing to store your bladeware in a cool, dry area like storage room or something.
